Trump's Disastrous Month

Donald Trump, Republican Presidential nominee has been having a tough month. From his leaked tax returns, suggesting he may have not paid federal taxes for almost two decades, to a leaked video in which he is heard making lewd comments about women.

First came Donald Trump’s tax returns, The New York Times published a couple pages of Trump’s tax returns. Over the course of this messy election, Trump’s campaign has been reluctant to release his tax report; a practice that is quite common for presidential candidates."In interview I told @AP that my taxes are under routine audit and I would release my tax returns when audit is complete, not after election!” the real estate mogul tweeted out.

The leaked pages of Donald Trump’s tax returns detected an almost 1 billion dollar loss in 1995. At a time when the real estate market was on a high. Due to the fact that the loss was so high, Trump may have continued to avoid paying federal taxes for years. Donald Trump has stated “the more than 20 year-old alleged tax document was illegally obtained” however his campaign did not deny what was on the report.

Next came the Access Hollywood video. In this video, Donald Trump is heard making vile comment about women, including ones in which he is heard confessing to groping women and kissing them without consent. He talks about how he goes into pageant show dressing room and that it’s okay because he is a celebrity. He confessed to groping a women and grabbing her genitals without her consent. The Trump campaign responded: “this was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago.”

The Trump campaign took another huge hit, when 8 women accused Donald Trump of sexual harassment. Trump has denied all of these allegations, and passed them off as a political smear campaign. With the GOP is complete chaos, the biggest question is, can the Trump campaign and his party survive the month of October?
